IT ISN’T NEFARIOUS. IT’S DONE ALL THE TIME

My good friend said “Nothing’s wrong unless you get caught.”

Now, he wouldn’t do anything wrong HIMSELF. He’s a goody two shoes.

BUT… he raises an interesting point that has been PROVEN CORRECT to me today.

Dr. Mercola reports that:

The New York Times discovered that Genentech (big biotech company) was telling top Congresspeople from BOTH parties what to say and write (as their own words) into the Congressional Record to help Genentech.

No debate. No questions. No appraisals of whether the laws were good or bad for the country. Just pure control of the Congresspeople for money.

So what did a Genentech lobbyist say about all this?

They said, It isn’t nefarious. It happens all the time..”

Nice one, lobbyist. Why do you make me sick?

~~~
Congresspeople are NOT your represenatives. They belong to Genentech and other companies with MONEY.
okay?
~~~

BUSINESS LESSON: Get a LOT of money. Then, do whatever you want to whomever you want. Just be sure to have a law degree and friends in high places. Then, you can own the world. If there is a world left to own.

~~~
Greed destroys. An inevitable Rule of Law and Life that lawyers (and politicians) ignore.
Steve Jobs Presentation Secrets
Carmine Gallo wrote a book revealing Steve Jobs’ presesentation secrets. Impressive. He goes into great detail with documentation, examples, descriptions.
The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs: How to Be Insanely Great in Front of Any Audience
Steve Jobs uses lots of photos, few words. I KNEW THAT. Look at every kid’s picture book. What’s not to love?
(For those in Rio Linda and my gamer forum - Steve Jobs is the founder and CEO of Apple Computers. Apple makes the iPod and iPhone. Steve is a MAC, not a PC.)
Carmine says that Steve Jobs reels you in. He TRICKS you. He turns ordinary into extraordinary. Makes you laugh.
Like, for example, when Steve presented the iPhone. He started with 3 new amazing astounding products. THEN, he said, “These are not 3 devices. These are just one. The iPhone. Get it?”
I think it’s the “get it,” that got it.
Carmine calls this a “holy smokes” moment.
Steve Jobs knows how to create short Twitterful headlines. Brief belief. I mean, if it makes a great tweet, it’s a great headline. Right? Right. Steve KNOWS. He tweeted before Twitter even was twat.
Steve does real good bad guy good guy stuff. Slay the dragon, whomp on the villain. Like, the PC.
Steve will even whup on society in general. Like the lady who threw the sledge hammer against the giant screen. But… have you ever noticed that your average Apple store looks like the futuristic androgynous society in that Apple commercial? Hmm.
Steve doesn’t let you get bored. Carmine describes how Steve demonstrated the iPhone by calling Starbucks right from the convention. When Starbucks answered, he ordered 4000 lattes for the audience. “Just kidding,” he said.
Dang - Steve even makes me want a latte.
Steve sells dreams, says Carmine. Like, making the world a better place. The iPod wasn’t just a Music Storage Device. The iPod made the world a better place. It enriched your life. Yeah!
Carmine’s book is a must buy. I’m reading it. Presenting like Steve is Gooood. Good for business.
Free EXCELLENT SEO Guide Online
I’ve seen alot of SEO type guides. This one is easiest and best to understand. Wish I’d started with this one rather than spend so much time reading those “collegiate” guides and systems.
You may have to sign up to access the guide, but it’s free, the author seems to be a standup guy, won’t bombard you with useless crappola and it’s totally WORTH it. Besides… I would actually look FORWARD to a newsletter from him. And that’s a rare thing. : )
Good Stuff.
