About
UPDATE:
This website changes as much as I change my haircolor. It was intended to be the business diary of a mad gurl - tales of a budding entrepreneuress. But it constantly evolves as I explore my VOICE.
Who ARE we, really? With the interactivity and publicness of a blog, the world tells us who we are just as much as we tell ourselves. As we bang ourselves up against the world, we are shaped, refined, and finally, defined.
I’m in this discovery phase.
~~~
In this blog, I reveal business hints, tips, secrets, treasures, mistakes, pitfalls, my daily grind and related mish mash.
In a way, it’s a business love letter compilation to myself and everyone else who wants to share.
I’ve been on a search for online riches with a vengeance in the last 10 months now. Oh yes, I’ve dabbled here and there on the Web since infancy and done little things for my friends and family since 1998. 12 years of playing around.
I’ve been around the block. In a tricycle. Now I’m up to a 10 speed racer.
You are totally welcome to join me on this trip around the Internet - my personal journey in search of Online Riches. If we learn together, all the better.
Comment to me - email me. I’ll respond to each and every one until I can’t, anymore.
Meanwhile, let’s trip this light fantastic, together. : )
The Eternally, Infernally, ever Budding, Entrepreneur
It’s a perennial state, this thing called entrepreneurship. A budship, never attaining the flower of fruition.
It’s the fault of the word “Entrepreneur” - to undertake, to begin. You can change word to Attendrepreneur - the state of having achieved. Attendrepreneurs: Those that have spread their petals, flowered fruitfully.
But here’s the rub… it’s the adventure, the promise of things to come, that impels the entrepreneur. It is in the budding that the imagination, anticipation and dreams still have hold.
The flower withers and dies, but the bud only grows and expands. And that, my friends, is who we are.
Perennial, budding Es.
What is this SiteBlog?
See our FAQs. But, it’s a fricking blog about 3 girls’ search for online riches - Ellie, CC & Jayde.
Some of us are older, some younger. We each read everything and respond as one. Why? It just turned out this way since we kept using each others’ names. Pretty soon we all got lost as individuals and became a united front. It seemed beyond our control. But one of us does almost ALL the posting.
But the other two rewrite and reconfigure at will. Does this make it more confusing to the visitor? No doubt. But, it is what it is, and we can’t seem to change.
What we will say is this:
Ellie is the proverbial effervescent light in the dark. CC is the luminous dark in the light. And Jayde is the brilliant one - incandescent, irridescent, and fleeting. We write together, live apart, but as one.
We each have our own lives, distant and yet so close. One of us gets paid by the other, while still another pays it all back and more.
If we ever write you personally, we’ll sign our names… or not. Because more than likely, all three read what you wrote, revised the message, and finally forwarded it to you.
Update 12:09 PM 8/23/2009
Yes, we always change our minds. One day this, one day that. So if our posts seem inconsistent, it’s the journey.
We are Budding Entrepreneurs. And always will be.
Point: Being a budding entrepreneur means there’s ALWAYS a new Spring. Every year, an opportunity to be refreshed, renewed, invigorated… always something unknown and exciting to look forward to.
In that way, business doesn’t get old… especially in this Internet generation.
Our friends will tell you we’re a hopeless case of eternal immature mixed with infantile regressive tendency syndrome. This makes for difficult dating. All right, no dating. AND… schizofrenetic writing.
Schizofrantic writings.
