There is this addictive component of Wordpress Theme development and creation. You experience creation ”elation.” After all, you are… an “artiste.” Artistes live for the agony and the ecstasy.

So, like all good addict artistes, you keep perfecting your art. You scrunch along pixel by pixel, css property by php value. The work is NEVER done.

FINALLY, you finish. Every semi colon properly placed, every dot precisely spaced. But then, while perusing the Web, you are once again thunderstruck with new possibilities and yeah. Off you go to Creation Elation Land once AGAIN.

So, budding entrepreneur, ask yourself Question UNO: Will this help me make money?

Do you want to make money? Turn off the TV. NO Law and Order in the background. You’ll never get anything done.

The suffering for lack of slack jawed hanging entertainment will inspire you. The lonely silence… the vast emptiness sans those familiar, friendly faces.

I can’t bear this. It’s 11:11… (WHOA. You heard about 1111, right?)

Anyway, the more I mention TV, the more I’m tempted to flick the switch, hook up the adapter, and TUNE in.

THAT WOULD be a mistake. I have 1000 or 2thou things to do. If I REALLY mean to make money, I’ll resist the tempation to “Flick the Switch.” “Push the On Button.” “Fondle the Remote.”

BUT WAIT! IT’S FRIDAY!!!!! Egads - give a kid a break why doncha. Instead of hitting the party scene (what the HECK is that?) this Friday, I think I’ll take a break… and…

Jay Z: “I think it’s the passion for what you do… and you finding something that you can be true to… something that’s really close to who you are as a person.

You have to have PASSION for what you do… I LOVE it.”

Really liked this. 

Loving what you do is nice, but KNOWING what you REALLY like to do because you know yourself is even nicer.

That way, you won’t do what I did and choose something that was just a passing fancy.

Plato said, “Learn to KNOW THYSELF.” That means, take the time, make the effort, study. No idle speculation or spur of the moment decisions about this.

You will be living and working with YOU for the rest of your life - guaranteed. It’s the passion that will carry you through the tougher times.
