Feeling a tad down?

Man I’m so lucky this is on Dailymotion. Nina Simone singing “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new li-ife… and I’m fee-eelin’ goood….”

EVERY song in that movie burns into the brain (all immemorably good)… along with a number of the scenes (also all immemorably good) - especially those with Anne Bancroft and Harvey Keitel. They, along with Bridget Fonda are… impeccable.

Take in particular, the scene with Anne Bancroft - “I never did much mind the little things.”

The power and finely tuned penache oozing from Ms. Bancroft’s every pore is devastatingly mesmerizing. From the first moment I saw that scene, I vowed to DEFINITELY stop minding the little things.

(Aside: still in the process of completing that vow…)

Point(s): Great frrickin’ song, great singer that hits to the core, great actresses and actors that hit to the core, and LESSON: don’t much mind the little things because there’s too many big things to squander time on.

There are many paths to online success. What does it take to choose the right one?

There are many ways to get to a destination.

Different paths, different scenery, different modes of transportation. Some paths are easy, others quite hard.

Not all paths fit all travelers. But a MULTITUDE of PATHS CAN LEAD TO THE SAME DESTINATION.

I figure it’s like that with Internet marketing and Making Money Online.

The destination is Online Riches. The pathways, innumerable.

So far, almost all of the pathways I’ve looked at have redeeming qualities. And, if you follow most of them to the letter, you will make money. How much? Mostly depends upon your dedication and attention to detail.

What does that mean for the Budding Entrepreneur?

It means there’s no simple easy answer that’s better than all the rest. You could spend a lifetime searching for the “perfect” and “best” magical system.

The truth is, probably 50% would work for you… but YOU won’t follow them.

The reason I say that is because most people start with energy and verve and then fizzle out.

They buy into a program, follow it diligently, then slowly crash and burn.

Why?

Because they didn’t KNOW THEMSELVES. They didn’t know what they could or couldn’t do on an ONGOING BASIS.

So… if you want to arrive at your destination (online success) as quickly and easily as possible, KNOW YOURSELF.

How do you do this?

1. Do you have a vehicle and supplies?
1. (Do you have a computer, Internet, product?)
2. Do you have the gas?
2. (Do you have the energy, will and focus to follow through?)
3. Do you have the time?
3. (Will you make evenings available? Are there family pressures?)
4. DO YOU EVEN KNOW YOUR DESTINATION?
4. (Do you just want to ‘make money,’ or do you have a plan?)
5. Do you have a map?
5. (Do you have directions? Do you know the Internet landscape?)
6. Are you strong, healthy, dedicated enough to travel?
6. (Do you have the wherewithal to work hard, relentlessly?)
7. Are you a mountain, desert, coastal, ocean, river,
    valley or plains kind of person?
7. (Your online success will be determined by how well
    you fit your mode of transportation. SO… do you KNOW
    what you like and not like to do, what you WILL and
    will NOT DO?)

All roads lead to Rome. But not everyone can travel in the same style, at the same speed. So, in the end, the most important thing is TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU CAN DO CONSISTENTLY, WITH PASSION AND RESOLVE, and whether you can STICK TO IT.

Otherwise, you’re very likely to just… spin your wheels.

KNOW THYSELF. Look to your past. See who you are. What you like. What you can and can’t do. What you are WILLING or NOT WILLING to do. Whether you can WORK ON YOUR OWN WITHOUT A BOSS.

And then, finally, learn when to stop researching, and try something, ANYTHING, willing to make mistakes and then TRY AGAIN.

Does this all sound easy? Aitch EE HOCKEY STICKS, No.

UPDATE: Having followed my own advice, I’ve avoided lucrative money making schemes such as ADWORDS campaigns.

I simply go BUG-EYED in front of the Adwords Google screen. Those Googly eyes? They’re mine.

If I PROMISE you a million times over that I’ll manage my campaigns, I’ll be a liar.

I simply won’t follow through. Why? Who cares? I won’t! It’s not in my Nature to sit and manage accounting.

I’D RATHER CLEAN YOUR TOILET.

Somehow, it’s my job to find out what I CAN do. And do well.

That’s the most important thing for online success.

MAKE MONEY ONLINE with our PROVEN LA de DA…

On one of the forums I populate, someone asked a question about whether to join this Online Money Making Membership System, called, So-and-So.

It got me going, and here was my response, revised, to protect the innocent:

“Okay, here’s where i get yelled at and screamed at. (This forum gets a little edgy round the gills if you criticize anything)

I joined So-and-So when it was a low cost trial. Of course it has good and useful information - ALL the systems do. They share similar stuff amongst each other.

But will the average josie be able to use it all and make an online killing as suggested?

I don’t think so.

The people who DO use their So-and-So successfully would most likely do well with ANY of the tutoring programs and systems.

That’s because all of them use more or less the same stuff in varying degrees.

If they were all really truthful, they’d tell you that, statistically, less than 1% EVER make enough income to warrant the subscription…

that is, less than 1% make anything with the program.

Making money online is not rocket science, it’s mostly smart, hard, continuous work.

Most people won’t be able to follow through with the number of steps required.

If you really want success, be prepared to make a website worth going to. Then, promote it using tools “A through G.” If people can’t see it, then how are they going to buy from you?

{ Don’t click on the A through G link above - it’s a fake. Temporarily… }

And that, my friends, is as simple as that.

NOW you can yell and scream and call me names.

PS: The easiest and fastest system I’ve seen anywhere UP TO NOW is the “free CD” program.

You make an hour or so long CD, give it away free for a “small” S&H fee, then create an autoresponder system for 3 to 6 months or so. You have a hard product, something people can hold in their hands. Better yet, an MP3 player or USB Drive.

They walk you through… or you can do it on your own if you research.

Some people will create a magnetic product, others won’t.

It’s like as in ALL business…

Note to self: IF you don’t have what it takes, then you better work SO HARD that you GET what it takes.What the heck are you going to sell? Your good looks? Angelina and Brad, step aside. This doesn’t apply to you.

If you don’t have a magnetic product, GET or CREATE a magnetic product.

PPS: If you DO decide to join a system, be prepared to follow through and WORK DAY AND NIGHT.
