Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish
I lost my verve there for a while. But, in my case, conflagration of my soul and certain happenstances of life spurred me on to new heights (and lows) of feverpitch endeavorship.
I now burn and churn with frenzied purpose and drive.
I snap and turn like a ravenous wolfling cub in a in a pack of fat caribou. Life is thick and rich with possibilities.
Life is “super-charged.”
As Steve Jobs quotes from The Whole Earth Catalog -“Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.”
~~~
It is when most hungry and foolish, that i’ve had those moments in the sun.
One more quote from Mr. Jobs regarding his being fired from Apple -
” The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.”
He was once again, hungry and… foolish.
And as they say, the rest, is history.
Quote 1 from Steve Jobs Commencement Address:
“…here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life.
So I decided to drop out [of college] and trust that it would all work out OK.”
He dropped out of college in consideration of his parents… I think this is an
important consideration. It was a selfless act on his part… And the ultimate
reward was great.
Quote 2 from Steve Jobs Commencement Address:
“…much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition
turned out to be priceless later on…
you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them l
ooking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect
in your future.
You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference
in my life.”
