Tired and Bored
My SPUNK has LEFT the building.
Yesterday and today, my getupandgo gotupandwent. When I told my friend, he said, “I feel that way all the time.”
Upon reflection… I need to grill my friend. That worries me… ALL the time?
Doood… Let’s talk.
If I were to feel this way all the time, I’d… turn to drink. Something. And I might as well put out ads to clean bathrooms. Just to survive.
why?
Because running a business online is driven by passion. You have to communicate… and if you lose the gump to thump, your content is going to smack of boredom. Ennui.
But cleaning a bathroom - no passion, communication, needed.
So, A Thought…
While feeling ennui’d and lackadaisical, why not go accounting? (You know the song - “Accounting we will go, accounting we will go, hiho the derryoh… “) Right.
I will bring accounts up to date, see about billing, tidy up some of my directory sites and investigate alternative methods of monetizing.
Otherwise, it’s over to Craigslist to proffer the following service…
“Will clean your bathroom with military precision AND sanitize with Grain Alcohol - Only $199.00…”
(One swig for me, one swig for the ole’ terlit…)
