Forgive me, but I think he’s the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen… Period.

Someday he will be stalwart fellow of 200 pounds of pure rugged good looks and carry brandy in a jug for stranded mountaineers. : )
(Please note that scientific research has proven that brandy for freezing mountaineers is only a mood elevator, not temperature elevator. However, a 200 furry St. Bernard lying beside you is a giant warm wonderful cushion of comfort. : )

In 2005 the non-profit Barry Foundation took over the breeding kennel from the Hospice at the Great Saint Bernard mountain pass (2473 metres/8114 ft. altitude) to continue the 300-year-old tradition of breeding the famous dogs, which return to their origin on the mountain pass during the summer months.
